Science Fair Judges Needed in the Twin Cities!

posted on 9:05 PM, February 9, 2012
PASS THE WORD:  We really need 150 more judges for our PROJECT JUDGING - Friday, February 24, 2012 at the Field House at the University of Minnesota, 1800 University Ave SE, Minneapolis.  Judges' assignments and supper begins at 3:30 p.m. We need judges to judge both within their expertise and educated judges to judge outside their field of expertise so that the students will have to clearly present their projects to scientists who may not know the jargon of the project.  Both parking and a light supper & snacks are provided (catered) for judges and volunteers. Judging will be 4 to about 9 pm & we need all levels of judges.

Food, parking, and a lot of fun science ? what is not to love?

Please RSVP by going to Judge Registration on our website www.tcrsf.org and log in. If you are new or did not register in the last couple of years then create a user name and password (case sensitive). If you forgot your user name and password, you can have them emailed to you from the website under Judge Registration.

If you want to help read and score research papers online at your leisure, please help us judge papers during February 4-16. RSVP that you will be a Research Paper Judge to help with this.  Each judge chooses what papers they want to read and score. Please send an email to paperjudging@tcrsf.org if you want to help us with paper judging, or even better, update your RSVP at Judge Registration on our website. For those who can judge both papers (Feb.4-16) and projects (Feb.24), we thank you double!

If you have any questions, please call Timara or David Underbakke (763-577-1400) or email judging@tcrsf.org.  PLEASE REGISTER on our website and pass the word to your colleagues.

Sincere thanks for helping encourage students in critical thinking with their research or designs in STEM ? science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.
