posted on 5:53 AM, April 8, 2016
You're invited to attend a free film screening of CODE: Debugging the Gender Gap onThursday, 4/14 at 8:30pm in the Bell Museum Auditorium at the University of Minnesota. This is hosted by the Society of Women Engineers-UMN and sponsored by ExxonMobil.

This award-winning documentary exposes the lack of American female and minority software engineers and explores the reasons for this gender gap. CODE aims to inspire change in mindsets, in the educational system, in startup culture, and in the way women and minorities see themselves in the field of coding.

See the Facebook event here for more details or RSVP directly at this Google form. All U of M students/staff/faculty are welcome to attend, as are area educators/students. Contact Holly McKissick at swe@umn.edu with questions!
