CGEE 26th Anniversary Event

Join the Center for Global Environmental Education (CGEE) for an unforgettable evening as Don Shelby evokes the wit and wisdom of Mark Twain on November 3, 2016, at the Sundin Music Hall on Hamline University's Campus. Performance begins at 7 p.m. with reception to follow.

Performing the best material from the Twain repertoire, including some classic Mississippi River stories, Don will help celebrate CGEE's 26th anniversary and the premiere of our Mississippi Multimedia Gallery exhibit.

The Gallery, featuring Shelby's Twain as an animating voice, brings the Mississippi's natural and cultural history vividly to life through highly detailed maps, documentary videos, photo galleries, 360-degree panoramas, and interactive modules. The program plays on museum-quality, large-format, ultra-high-definition multitouch computer kiosks.

Your ticket will help support this major outreach initiative, which will be complemented by professional development programs for teachers and learning resources for K-12 students focused on the Mississippi.

PLUS we will be announcing an exciting collaborative venture with Don Shelby at the event.

Tickets are $50, a portion of which is tax deductible, and includes one drink ticket.
