National Youth Science Camp

by , posted on 12:18 PM, February 14, 2017

Do you have seniors in your school or classes that are curious science learners, have good science skills, have leadership potential, like intellectual challenges and would love to spend three weeks this summer in the mountains – with all expenses paid? Then you should tell them about the National Youth Science Camp!

Two students from Minnesota will join other seniors from each state and several other countries to share in active learning investigations, visit national research labs in Washington DC and interact with top scientists at a residential camp in the mountains of West Virginia. They will also have opportunities for camping, horseback riding, kayaking and other recreational activities.

Please share the pdf or docx flyers with them. The online application asks them to highlight science and math accomplishments and involvement in school and community activities. It is due March 1. We frequently only get a few applications, so encourage any interested seniors to apply. Feel free to contact me with any questions.

Thank you.
