NASA Glenn Research Center - Out-of-School Time Funding Opportunities

by , posted on 1:35 PM, March 3, 2017

Dear Out-of-School Time Educators,

The NASA Glenn Research Center (GRC) Office of Education (OE) is soliciting applications from youth-serving organizations (YSOs) and formal/informal education institutions in the GRC six-state region to implement out-of-school time (OST) content to students grades 4th- 9th in OST settings from May 1, 2017 through August 31, 2017.  This content includes either GRC’s Engineering Design Challenge (EDC): Let It Glide or the NASA Out-of-School Learning (NOSL) Network activity modules. This opportunity provides educational content through which students have the opportunity to work on real-world challenges in a collaborative, team-based environment.  Students will apply lessons learned to problems faced by STEM professionals while gaining a deeper knowledge of how NASA is a part of their everyday lives.
