BrainU 101

July 27 - August 7, 2015

BrainU 101 is a summer professional development workshop for high school science teachers. The workshop runs July 27 - August 7, 2015 and includes inquiry-based learning activities to explore the brain and nervous system, tours of active research laboratories, lesson planning, and creative integration of technology. 

Participants will receive a $1000.00 stipend, and Minnesota teachers can receive Continuing Education Units for completing the 80-hour course. BrainU participants will also have the opportunity to participate in a brief classroom study during the 2015-16 school year to evaluate a new, neuroscience-based mobile app, for which they will receive an additional stipend.
