MnSTA's Position on Science Standards

The Minnesota Science Teachers Association is committed to using national and state standards to improve the teaching and learning of science for all Minnesota teachers and students. Our focus is on promoting best practice in curriculum, instruction, and assessment. Continued professional development is a necessary part of teacher practice as teachers develop effective instruction and use appropriate assessment methods. MnSTA is committed to providing the leadership necessary to transform the teaching and learning of science in ways that will benefit all children in the state of Minnesota.
