From 3M Tech Program:
The 2018-2019 TECH program has begun!
For the past 40 years, the 3M TECH Science Encouragement Program (Technical Teams Encouraging Career Horizons) has given students the opportunity to meet and interact with scientists and engineers. For more info on the 3M TECH program, check out our website.
If you are interested in the 3M TECH program, please follow the link below to this year’s registration form. Please submit your response by DECEMBER 14, 2018. If you have any issues or questions with the registration form, please send an email to 3MTech@mmm.com.
Although we will attempt to assign a TECH team to all interested schools, assignment is generally conducted on a first come, first serve basis. Early in 2019 a 3M volunteer team member will contact you to arrange the TECH visit at your school. We ask that the visit occur during the current school year and not carry over into the following school year.
If multiple teachers at your school are interested in a TECH visit, please let us know or forward this email to them and we will try to accommodate by matching a 3M volunteer team with each teacher. Please consider combining classes if possible. In the interest of the volunteers, we ask the teachers to try to limit the 3M TECH visit to 4 hours total.
