The US Department of Education has announced that Forest Lake High School is one of 35 schools recognized as a 2019 Green Ribbon School

Congratulations to science teacher and Environmental Club Advisor Devon Vojtech, and Forest Lake High School, for being designated a 2019 Green Ribbon School by the US Department of Education. According to the Department of Education, the school was recognized for working to build solar panels on the school's roof, building pollinator gardens, conserving water, recycling in all classrooms and the cafeteria, monitoring and managing the school's environmental health, incorporating environmental literacy throughout the curriculum, reducing the school's environmental footprint, and much more.
