From 100Kin10 network:

Dear Teachers,

We are science educators located at the University of Illinois and Penn State. As part of work, we are looking to better understand how current teachers create, participate and maintain professional learning communities in their schools and districts as well as partnerships with industries, university scientists and engineers and other community organizations. We are asking you to participate in an online survey that asks about your teaching practice as well as professional learning communities. We believe that this survey will help us better understand what teachers are currently doing around issues of professional learning communities and STEM teaching and learning and hope that you choose to participate in it. This survey has come out of work that we have done as part of the 100Kin10 network.

We are planning on sharing our results through presentations at national and regional professional conferences, journal publications, and on our respective websites.

This survey should take you no more than 15 minutes. It has been approved by both the UIUC and Penn State Institutional Review Boards.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact Barbara Hug at bhug@illinois.edu or by phone 217-244-9090.
