Kids to Parks Day National School Contest

National Park Trust’s contest is open to all Title I schools (40% of students qualify for free or reduced-priced lunch) and school groups in the U.S. in grades preK through 12. The goal of the contest is to help educators engage students with their local parks through education, outdoor recreation, and stewardship. Contest closes on February 14, 2020, with winners announced on the Park Trust’s website on March 6, 2020.

National Park Trust invites students across the country to participate in the 10th annual ​Kids to Parks Day (KTP). KTP is a nationwide grassroots movement to celebrate America’s parks and public lands and waters. To inspire kids and schools to explore outdoors, the Park Trust is once again hosting the ​Kids to Parks Day National School Contest, ​and the deadline to apply is quickly approaching! If you work at or attend a Title I school (40% of students qualify for free or reduced-price lunch), you are eligible to enter and win up to $1,000 to fund your ​dream park experience.

The deadline for entries is ​Friday, February 14, 2020​. Winners will be announced on the Park Trust’s website on ​Friday, March 6, 2020​.
