During these uncertain times, The University of Minnesota Chemical Safety Day Program continues to be offered during the Summer and Fall months.  The program is designed to assist educational institutions and nonprofit organizations throughout the state of Minnesota, in disposing of unwanted chemicals and hazardous waste fromscience, art, industrial technology, and maintenance departments.  The CSDP is a cost-effective waste management program working under the Minnesota state contract for hazardous waste disposal. Therefore, each waste disposal facility has been thoroughly audited and reviewed by the state, reducing your overall environmental liability. University of Minnesota Environmental Health and Safety staff travel throughout the state, multiple times a year directly to your location, allowing for convenient waste pickup. Information on the program can be found at

https://dehs.umn.edu/chemical-safety-day-program  If you wish to participate, please complete the CSDP Participant Information Form   If you have any questions please call Robbie Eiker at 612-590-5224.  We look forward to assisting you in making your school a safer place.

Sincerely,

Robbie Eiker
