Waters to the Sea Stories: Dakota Place and Kinship with the Mississippi River
For CGEE’s inaugural Waters to the Sea® Stories webinar we are excited to partner with the Lower Phalen Creek Project (LPCP) and its Wakan Tipi Center. LPCP Director Maggie Lorenz (Spirit Lake Dakota/Turtle Mountain Ojibwe) and board member Dr. Kate Beane (Flandreau Santee Sioux) will share about Dakota Place and Kinship with the Mississippi River. John Shepard of CGEE will demonstrate the Native American educational resources available in the award-winning Waters to the Sea® Mississippi River Adventure.

This free webinar will take place live on November 10th, at 6 pm CST and will be recorded. It will feature place-based video stories; a live presentation; connections to educational resources; and audience Q&A.
