This virtual event by the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine on April 8, 2021 from 2:30 PM – 4:30 PM CDT will give you the opportunity to share your ideas on the future of science education and the most important issues for state and national policy-makers to consider so that students can be prepared to face the global challenges of the future both as engaged participants in society and in their careers.

Join us and others who are committed to science education on April 8 to participate in this event at the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine. The project Call to Action for Science Education is working to convey to policy makers and other decision makers evidence-based ways to prepare students to face the global challenges of the future.
The committee will author a report making recommendations for state and federal policy makers on ways to support equitable, productive pathways for all students to thrive and have opportunities to pursue careers that build on scientific skills and concepts.
