Description: In the 21st century, space will matter in benefiting humans. Women with bachelors, masters, and doctorates degrees will play an active and equal role in space-related science, technology, & innovation. Join a free discussion with females working in this field.

Panelists:

Keri Bean is a Systems Engineer at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) and currently working as a Helicopter Integration Engineer for the Mars Perseverance rover. She graduated from Texas A&M University with a master's degree in atmospheric sciences and obtained her B.S. in meteorology (with double minors in mathematics and earth sciences) from Texas A&M University. Keri is a member of JPL's speakers bureau. She also identifies as a huge Star Wars fan and is a member of the R2-D2 Builders Club
 
Caeley Looney is a Mission Analyst with L3Harris Technologies and the CEO/Co-Founder of Reinvented Magazine, which seeks to encourage young females to explore careers in STEM. She has a B.S. in Aerospace Engineering and is currently pursuing a M.S. in Space Systems Engineering.
 
Dr. Peggy Norris's work in nuclear chemistry includes applications in space technology. You can read more about Dr. Norris on her FabFems webpage and this article on the Sanford Underground Research Facility website.
 
Hannah Reilly, a senior at the University of Minnesota majoring in aerospace engineering, has interned at both SpaceX & Virgin Orbit and is currently Vice President of the University of Minnesota Rocket Team.
 
The moderator for this webinar is Renate Fiore, a high school science teacher in the Orono School District in Minnesota. She has a BA in physics and a MAT in Secondary Education.
