The Return of Wolves: Isle Royale National Park

The film “The Return of Wolves: Isle Royale National Park,” and the accompanying free educational lesson plans “Lessons from the Wilderness”, offer the opportunity to teach students about the unique relationship between wolves and moose on Isle Royale National Park and how it alters the ecosystem.

The National Parks of Lake Superior Foundation (NPLSF) produced a documentary film called “The Return of Wolves: Isle Royale National Park”, which follows the re-establishment of wolves to Isle Royale, the relationship between wolves and moose, and the effect on the ecosystem of the National Park. NPLSF also developed a free curriculum for K- 12 students called "Lessons from the Wilderness".
