The 2025-2026 season of STEM on Tap workshops is off to a great start! In October, we had our best-attended workshop yet. We are humbled when teachers show up, bring their friends and colleagues, and consistently tell us that this is a worthwhile way to spend their very limited time. If you haven’t attended yet, we hope you can make it soon!
Join us on Wednesday, November 12 for a discussion about genetic counseling, a nascent yet growing healthcare field that supports patients seeking more information about how inherited diseases and conditions might affect them and/or their families. We'll talk about careers in medical genetics and how students can learn more about if this would be a good career field for them. We'll also discuss current challenges and opportunities in the field of medical genetics, finishing up with a few case studies.
