How is the Mississippi River? How can I teach about the health of the river?

Attend a FREE workshop for educators to find out.

The State of the River Report is an award-winning publication that synthesizes scientific data to 17 indicators of the health of the river. Authors of the Report and corresponding Teacher’s Guide will provide compelling content and present ways that you can easily utilize this information in the classroom.

The Teacher's Guide to the State of the River Report provides hands on learning experiences for grades 3-12. Lessons were designed using Minnesota State Science Standards. Students will engage in relevant lessons based on the content in the State of the River Report. Scientific data from agencies such as the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency and Minnesota Department of Natural Resources has been translated into user friendly curriculum!
