2017 Facilitator Needs Assessment

Hello educators,

The Engineering Design Challenge team at NASA Glenn strives to create authentic and engaging EDCs that bring NASA content “down to earth”. But you, the formal and informal educators that facilitate our challenges, are our direct connection to inspiring the next generation of STEM professionals. With that in mind, we need your input in making content that is most valuable to you.

• EDC-01: Gaining Traction on Mars explored designing wheels for rovers on the red planet.
• EDC-02: Let it Glide improved glider performance for scientific payloads
• EDC-03: coming this fall - hint: your students will need to concentrate to shed light on this challenge
• EDC-04: ???

We are asking you to fill out our 2017 Facilitator Needs Assessment survey. It should only take about 5-10 minutes of your time, and will help guide us in determining the focus of future EDCs. Please feel free to forward it to any other educators who might be interested. We would like to have all respondents input by Sunday, June 18.
