Glenn Branch of the National Center for Science Education (NCSE) calls attention to a column in Nature by Brandon Haught in which he urges the scientific community to redouble its efforts to support science educators.
Mr. Haught is a Florida high school science teacher who serves as the communications director for the grassroots Florida Citizens for Science. He is also the author Going Ape: Florida's Battles Over Evolution in the Classroom (University Press of Florida 2014).
