STEM Week Activities Oct 31 – Nov. 4, Minneapolis

The National Organization for the Professional Advancement of Black Chemists and Chemical Engineering is bringing their National STEM Week to Minneapolis. The activities include a Science Fair, Science Festival (activities and presentations), Science Bowl competition and Teacher Workshops. Participation is free and travel scholarships are available.

The Teacher's Workshop is scheduled for November 3rd in at the Radisson Blu Hotel.  Teachers can opt to attend the morning or afternoon sessions.  This training is in part conducted by the American Chemical Society and will focus on Grades 6-12 topics in Physical and Life Sciences.  These workshops are congruent with CCSS and NGSS standards.  For more information go to the STEM Week Website.
