DESCRIPTION:Forwarded from Minnesota Sea Grant:\n\nThe Workshop on the Wa
 ter will provide educators with a great opportunity to learn more about 
 Lake Superior and the freshwater coastal environment in the estuary.\n\n
 Workshop participants will be able to talk with a local scientist and le
 arn about current Great Lakes research. Educator activity kits and monit
 oring equipment will be demonstrated during the workshop that are availa
 ble for free loan through the Sea Grant network. The workshop will also 
 highlight the new maritime education program and the new Coast Model of 
 the Watershed Game.\n\n \n\nWednesday, August 2nd\n\n10:00am - 2:30pm\n
