Citizen Scientists needed July 27 - Aug 4 for International Monarch Monitoring Blitz

For one week, citizen scientists can report sightings of Monarch eggs, caterpillars, chrysalises and butterflies to help researchers identify areas of need in Monarch conservation.

Participants in the 3rd Annual International Monarch Monitoring Blitz look for milkweed plants and count how many eggs, caterpillars, chrysalises and butterflies they find. In Minnesota, findings are reported to the Monarch Larva Monitoring Project.
