Science Buddies invites your students to build a paper ball run with the longest path

The 2022 Fluor Engineering Challenge asks students to design and build a ball run using only paper and tape. The twist is that the goal is for the ball to take as long as possible to travel from start to finish!

The Fluor Challenge is free to enter, fun for all ages, uses simple materials, and is designed to work well in the classroom or at home.

Submissions for the Fluor Challenge will be accepted February 20-March 20, 2022, but students can start planning, designing, and building now!

Enter for a chance to win!

The Fluor Challenge is about getting kids to try engineering with a fun and accessible hands-on project. All qualified submissions from listed geographic locations will be entered in random drawings for a chance to win part of $10,000 (USD) in prizes for the student's school or nonprofit organization.*

See the 2022 Fluor Challenge page for full rules and limitations.
