The STEM Innovation Award is presented in partnership with the Minnesota Elementary School Principals' Association (MESPA) and the Science Museum of Minnesota. It gives principals and teachers the opportunity to share innovative programs and/or projects in their school. An Innovation Database is created from entries for the award.

The Science Museum will provide $600 of programming to the recipient of the award, which is equivalent to a half day of School Outreach programming.

The award must go to an elementary or middle level school whose principal or associate principal is a MESPA member. Here's the link to nominate the school.
