Join us in November for a new Waters to the Sea® Stories webinar: The End of Night: Our Relationship with Artificial Light.

Our nighttime world is getting ever brighter, and the impacts are far reaching and thought provoking. Light pollution is also an issue all of us can readily address, saving energy and expense as we do so. Join us for a Waters to the Sea Stories webinar that explores our changing relationship with artificial light with Hamline University English Professor Paul Bogard, who is featured in CGEE’s public television documentary, Northern Nights, Starry Skies, a co-production with PBS North. In his award-winning book, The End of Night: Searching for Natural Darkness in a world of Artificial Light, and in other publications, Paul has traveled the world, documenting places and people that illuminate our relationships to natural darkness and artificial light. Related K-12 PBS LearningMedia resources created by CGEE will also be presented.
