Job Description / Duties

Physics, AP Physics, and General Sciences Teacher for the 2020-2021 school year for Grades 7-12.
Duties:
• Prepares course objectives and outline for course of study following curriculum guidelines or requirements/standards of state and school.
• Lectures, demonstrates and uses audiovisual technology teaching aids to present subject matter to class.
• Prepares, administers, and corrects tests, and records results.
• Assigns lessons, homework, corrects papers and hears oral presentations.
• Counsels students when academic and/or behavioral problems arise.
• Discusses students' academic and behavioral attitudes and achievements with parents.
• Keeps attendance and grade records as required by the school.
• Coordinates class field trips

Qualifications / Required Skills

Education and/or Experience: Bachelor's degree (B.S.) from a four-year college or university with a major in science education or a similar degree.

Salary: Commensurate with experience
