Hello High School teachers,
Do you have or know outstanding high school seniors (class of 2021) who would benefit from a prestigious science experience this summer?
The National Youth Science Camp is a FREE 3+ week experience for 2 delegates from each state. MDE selects the Minnesota delegates from applications (we usually get very few applicants). This camp usually occurs in the mountains of West Virginia, but this year it will be virtual June 28 – July 21. Highlights are
- Daily lectures and seminars with leading scientists
- Directed studies alongside visiting and resident STEM professionals
- Engaging activities in the natural, physical, computer sciences, and creative arts
- Opportunities for delegates to engage with STEM professionals, staff, and each other in fun and meaningful ways
- Special events and surprise guests throughout NYSCamp
- 4.5 hour commitment per day, mostly in the late afternoon/evening hours.
- Delegates attend free of charge
