MESTA Earth Science Conference

Dr. Carrie Jennings will present at the Minnesota Earth Science Teachers’ Association (MESTA) Conference.

MESTA is excited to welcome back Dr. Carrie Jennings of the Freshwater Society to the February 4 Minnesota Earth Science Teachers’ Association Conference.  This in-person conference will feature Dr. Jennings along with three other concurrent sessions, a keynote speaker, and an optional pre-conference evening tour and social event.

Friday’s sessions feature Dr. Carrie Jennings of the Freshwater Society, Alesia Arlandson of Lakeville Area Public Schools, Dr. Jennifer Anderson of Winona State University, and Rachel Humphrey of St. Cloud State University. Dr. Alex Hastings, chair of Paleontology at the Science Museum of Minnesota, will be the keynote speaker.

Thursday’s pre-conference evening features a weather balloon launch and a tour of the National Weather Service in Chanhassen.

Take this opportunity to connect and reconnect with your colleagues from across the state and enjoy the day learning with other Earth science enthusiasts.  Breakfast, lunch, door prizes, and classroom resources are included with your registration.
