MESTA is excited to welcome Dr. Alex Hastings, chair of Paleontology, Science Museum of Minnesota, as the keynote speaker for the February 4 Minnesota Earth Science Teachers’ Association Conference.  This in-person conference will feature Dr. Hastings along with four concurrent sessions and a pre-conference evening social event.

Go to https://www.mnearthscience.org to register now for the Friday February 4, 2022 Minnesota Earth Science Teachers' Association conference and to view complete session descriptions.

Friday’s sessions feature Dr. Carrie Jennings of the Freshwater Society, Alesia Arlandson of Lakeville Area Public Schools, Dr. Jennifer Anderson of Winona State University, and Rachel Humphrey of St. Cloud State University.

Thursday’s pre-conference evening features a weather balloon launch and a tour of the National Weather Service in Chanhassen.

Take this opportunity to connect and reconnect with your colleagues from across the state and enjoy the day learning with other Earth science enthusiasts.  Breakfast, lunch, door prizes, and classroom resources are included with your registration.

Register early as staff development funds may be limited at your workplace.  You may find more information and register at  https://www.mnearthscience.org

Looking forward to seeing you on February 4, 2022.
