The radical story of a persistent woman who changed our understanding of the universe, based on the science and life of Marie Curie. Core chemistry concepts become a lyrical metaphor in an uplifting story of discovery.
Presented LIVE AND IN PERSON by Matheatre and hosted by The Thinking Spot, a science-themed bookstore!
Audience size limited, reservations required. Masks are required for all audience members. Performers will be unmasked during the performance for expression and clarity (performers are vaccinated and boosted, and will take a Covid test before performing).
Matheatre is an internationally touring theatre company with a mission to use live theatre to tell stories that inspire excitement about math and science. "Curie Me Away!" has previously been presented at National Taiwan Science Education Center, Science Centre Singapore, Bradbury Science Museum of Los Alamos National Laboratory, and National Atomic Testing Museum (part of the Smithsonian Institution).
