MnSTA is collecting preliminary data to determine if, and to what extent, the 9-12 Minnesota Academic Standards in Earth and Space Science are being, or will be offered to students with fidelity, meaning all students receive instruction in all the 9-12 Earth and Space Science standards and benchmarks as intended and mandated in Minnesota Statutes 120B.023, and 120B.024subd4(5).

Re: MN Earth and Space Science Standards and Benchmarks

Dear Minnesota Science Teacher Colleagues,

If you are a high school science teacher in ANY DISCIPLINE, I am asking you for 5 minutes of your time.  We are collecting preliminary data to determine if, and to what extent, the 9-12 Minnesota Academic Standards in Earth and Space Science are being, or will be offered to students with fidelity, meaning all students receive instruction in all the 9-12 Earth and Space Science standards and benchmarks as intended and mandated in Minnesota Statutes 120B.023, and 120B.024subd4(5).  This survey is completely anonymous.  Emails are NOT collected. Teachers do not need to be MnSTA members to participate in the survey.  Please ask and encourage your colleagues in other schools and districts to participate as well. The survey will be open through Friday, January 6, 2023.

We very much appreciate your time and consideration.

Thank you!

Dana Smith

MnSTA Earth and Space Science Discipline Director
