MDE has released the new Legislative Impacts Guidance document for Science Education. This document provides additional clarification and guidance to the updated language for the graduation requirements for science.
I have attached a copy of the document to this email, and it is also available as a direct download at the top of our Academic Standards, Science page. We are aware with an issue with the link at the top of the page, and are working to repair it. However, the document is linked at the bottom of the page, and that one is currently accessible. If you click it, it will produce a direct download.
This information has also been shared with our Science District Leaders, Curriculum Directors, and will be shared in the Educator Edition Newsletter. We appreciate your help in further distributing this information to Minnesota Science Educators and district leaders.
