Both the Minnesota Earth Science Teachers Association and the Minnesota Association of Environmental Education are recruiting new board members.
MESTA Board Positions available
We have 2 full term board positions open for the MESTA board. A full term is 3-years. We also have 2 seats available for a 1-year term. Time commitments include attending 4 board meetings a year offered in a hybrid format with many members attending in person while others join virtually. You can take on more responsibility depending on your interests and time, many members are on committees or work on planning the annual conference. Meetings typically last 2 hours with the exception of the January meeting which is longer due to needing to plan the annual conference logistics.
