Last summer PBS broadcast a series called The Mystery of Matter: Search for the Elements. The three-hour NSF-funded series, which tells the amazing human story behind the Periodic Table, was praised by the press and warmly received by chemistry teachers. The consultant performing the NSF-required summative evaluation for The Mystery of Matter: Search for the Elements is looking for teachers to help evaluate the TV series, the Teacher’s Guide and the website – particularly the short videos and the film clips from the PBS series.
