The MMEW is a three-day workshop for K-12 Earth Science educators and pre-service teachers that offers short courses and field trips focused on the geology and mineral resources of Minnesota. The upcoming 21st annual MMEW will be held June 19-21, 2018 at the College of St. Benedict in St. Joseph, Minnesota.

Registration for the 2018 MMEW Workshop at the College of Saint Benedict's this June 19-21 is now open!
There are 10 short courses to choose from, a Tuesday night event at Quarry Park for dinner and a geoscience talk and two days of field trips. Field trip stops include the Martin Marietta granite quarry, Cold Spring's quarry and granite fabrication plant, glacial geology and aggregate operations in the St. Cloud area.
